Baymax child hat

My new favorite child movie is Big Hero 6, and although I do not have children, husband and I like to indulge in some kid flicks. Even though I do not have kids, I do have younger cousins and brother and sisters, and I kinda use them to template a pattern for this hat. I made this hat with white super saver yarn, and the same with the black yarn. I was debating whether or not if I should add a black and white pom pom on the top of the hat. I can always add that later if I decide I want to add the pom pom. Or, I can always make another hat with a pom on top, I will most likely do that.
As for a pattern, I am still working on the pattern, I will probably make some other sizes too. Maybe a one bigger one and smaller one? Only then will I have a better draft of the pattern, there are two different pics from two different angles to get a better view of the hat.

Spiral Pot Holder

I been wanting to make a spiral crochet pot holder, and haven't decided what colors. The colors that I chose look so "Halloween" but I still like the way it came out. Although, I made a little too big and you can see it started to ruffle at the edges. Next time I think I will make it a tad but smaller. I also didn't know what to make the edging, so why not all three colors. hah. Also it's double sided, with double crochets through out most of the pattern. I didn't like the double crochet made the pattern like "holey" if you will, so I got some scrap fabric that I had and stuffed the middle to make it more secure. I am debating whether or not if I want to put on the pattern on here. But if i do decide to put  pattern on here I would need to write down the pattern and go from there. That is all I have to say for today, hope you like it, and I think I like the final product overall.
        Happy hooking!

Slouchy Mesh Hat

It has been awhile since I have posted anything on here. I got into a little hooking slump if you will, but I think I got my momentum back. Since spring is approaching I figured I could make a hat that is spring friendly, and it will not be too hot to wear. The stitch I used is called Arch Mesh stitch. It's really simple and easy, and the hat will finish really quick.
I am in the process of getting some type of mannequin head to I can display my projects better, and I kind of don't like modeling the projects. Anyway here is the pattern, feel free to post any question, about it. I made a few of these hats already so I can get the pattern down.

Note: I also used red heart super saver yarn on this patterns is comes out just as fine as the Simply Soft.
I made two different sizes of this hat. The blue hat is a smaller hat could fit a child, and the other two colors are adult sizes
